February 2022 Newsletter
The World Tour of the Banff Mountain Film Festival is seriously one of my favorite things to do in February. The Rio Theatre on Soquel Avenue in Santa Cruz, schedules 3 nights filled with films that are ripe with adventure, risk, and the wild. Each night will be playing a different program; Maple, Larch, and Spruce. Let's look at some of the films that will be playing during this year's Banff Mountain Film Festival.
Friday, February 25th, 2022- The Maple Program
A Dog’s Tale (Tour Edit) 2021, Canada, 5 minutes Filmmaker: Darren McCullough, Darcy Wittenburg, Anthill
Films Advisory: General There’s something primal about the feeling of the forest floor under your paws and smelling a thousand different smells all at once. The freedom of the trail is what we long for.

If You Give a Beach a Bottle 2021, USA, 5 minutes
