Kids for
Conservation

To reduce wildfire fuel in an environmentally friendly way, The Nature Lodge is proud to be home to a small herd of goat superheroes! This band of adopted brothers from different mothers are living the dream—eating until their hearts' content. These boys, along with their livestock guardian buddy Blue, help keep the weeds at bay at Camp Loma and all over Santa Cruz County.

Picnic After Camping

Summer Camps By
The Nature Lodge

We invite all elementary school youth in Santa Cruz County to join us every summer during our 5 day nature-inspired Summer Camps! Join us at Camp Loma in the Santa Cruz Mountains by The Soquel Demonstration Forest. With hands-on methods of teaching found in Waldorf Schools and the 4-H program alike, youth who attend these camps will find themselves learning about the natural world around them, the power they have to make positive change, and how best to live a healthy balanced life. See if we are a good fit for your kiddo!

East Cliff Park Pathway Coastal Clean-Ups

The Nature Lodge is proud to have adopted East Cliff Park Pathway in Capitola, California. Walking along the coastline you can see the variety of flower beds that have been beautified over the last few years by the many volunteers that have joined us on our Coast Clean-Ups days that are sprinkled throughout the year.  We are looking forward to the various projects we have on our radar to make that long stretch of our locally accessible shoreline frequented by surfers and tourists alike. Please join us at our next Clean-Up.
